Handmade Porcelain Sun-catcher with Mother Of Pearl Luster
I rolled a slab, cut the shape, hooked a high temperature to connect the crystal beads and drew the cat with black underglaze. Also, I sculpted tiny fish bait for "Cat gone fishing," and hooked it with wire. They've been bisque fired and fired at cone 6 again with glaze. After that I painted the mother of pearl luster on the cloud, raindrops and fish bait and fired as the 3rd firing. I imprinted with a doily to make a pattern on the back, so you can enjoy both sides. Crystals are carefully connected by hand.
